Senator Simon Mwadkwon, who chaired the PDP National Committee overseeing the congress, announced Bako’s victory, praising the transparency of the electoral process.

In addition to Bako, other elected officials include Kefas Danlami as Secretary, Yahaya Bunu as Treasurer, and Chinenege Muhammed as State Publicity Secretary. Hannatu John was elected as State Women Leader, while Bala Aron became State Legal Adviser, and Awesu Abdullahi was appointed State Auditor. Vice-chairpersons for the state’s three senatorial zones are Marshin Shema (North), Isah Bala Mangi (South), and Attahiru Osu Audu (West).

In his inaugural speech, Bako pledged to address grievances and strengthen the party’s presence across the state.
