Nasarawa State Government says it has spent N2 billion for the upgrade of the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH), Lafia within the last two years.
The Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Hassan Ikrama, revealed this on Thursday in Lafia, in an exclusive interview with Daily Trust while speaking on the achievements recorded so far in the hospital.

- Herders back Buhari as Afenifere, Ohanaeze reject grazing routes recovery
He said that the state government had equally donated three mobile hospitals to DASH, adding that this would go a long way to address the challenges being faced by the people at the grassroots.
Ikrama said the less vulnerable people at the grassroots found it difficult to access medical care in the state before this intervention.
He said the hospital now has the best breast cancer testing equipment with the support of the current administration.
