The ancient Kingdom of Keffi in Nasarawa State is bracing for one of its grandest moments as preparations are in top gear for the much-anticipated 2024 Keffi Polo Tournament held at its traditional venue, the Keffi Polo Ranch in the last week of June.
Polo Royals reliably gathered that the 2024 edition hosted by the Distinguished Senator Aliyu Wadada will surpass past editions in excitement, competition and pageantry as all the big Nigerian polo patrons, top players and their foreign counterparts are expected to showcase their skills.
The Ranch Proprietor, Senator Wadada described the Keffi Polo Ranch tournaments as an intervention effort by him to reach out to the orphans, internally displaced persons and less privilege in the society.
“The whole purpose of hosting the best of polo in Keffi, is my humble way of giving back to the society that has over the years been so appreciative of me and my endeavours,” he pointed out.

“He noted that the importance of Education could not be over-emphasized. According to him education revolves around everything one does in life. Education is life, power, growth and progress. Without education, my people would not have given me the mandate to represent them in the Senate”
Tournament Manager, Babaduna Kaloma said the organizers are expecting a full house as regular teams from Abuja, Jos, Kaduna, Kano Bauchi and Yola, among others have all indicated their intentions to contest for honours during the weeklong tournament that has been the beckon of tourism attraction in the state.
