Nasarawa deputy governor Silas Agara has pledged support for the APC govrnorship candidate Abdullahi Sule after he lost in a keenly contested primaries in the state.
Agara spoke to journalists in Lafia after meeting with members of his campaign team and supporters.
He said he decided to support Sule because it was the will of God and the choice of APC members.
“I have accepted the verdict in good faith. Whatever transpired leading to the primary, we have accepted the will of God. As one that believes in God, we will support the party in every election,” he said.
Agara and nine other aspirants lost to Sule in the APC governorship primary held in the state on September 29 said, that he called the meeting to inform his team and supporters of his decision, thank them for their support before, during and after the party primary election and to encourage them to accept the outcome of the election and work for the success of the party at all levels during the 2019 election.
