NAPTIP declares two men wanted for human trafficking

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has declared two men wanted for human trafficking offences.

The suspects, 36 years-old Linus Okeke, from Abia State, and 34 years-old Godwin Nomyange, from Benue State, who were arrested by NAPTIP, were unfortunately aided by ex–officers of the Agency to escape from custody.

The guilty officers were among those dismissed and will soon be prosecuted for their culpability in the crime.

The Director-General of NAPTIP, Dame Julie Okah-Donli, called on the general public to please report any knowledge of their whereabouts to the Agency, or the nearest police station.
