The youth, who mounted a roadblock on one side of the Agodi Secretariat-Bodija, accused an officer of the Oyo Amotekun Corps of killing, Akolade Gbadebo, a student of the University of Ibadan.
Opakunle said the victim was shot dead last Thursday by one of the officers of the security outfit in the state.
The students called on the government to investigate the matter surrounding the demise of the victim.
Amotekun in Oyo State, through its Information Officer, Ayolola Adelola, has since dismissed the allegation as untrue.
Speaking on the development, the Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Student matter, Olojede Victor, said the government had been briefed.
He urged the students to allow the authorities concerned to investigate the matter.
