The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has concluded the Hajj operations with the return of last flight NGL 2124 Max Air to the country.
NAHCON’s Head of Public Affairs, Fatima Sanda Usara, in a statement issued yesterday and signed on behalf of the commission’s Chairman/Chief Executive Officer Barr. Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammad, thanked the Almighty God for facilitating the conclusion of 2019 Hajj airlift back to Nigeria, three days ahead of schedule.
The exercise that started on 17th of August spanned 26 days under 91 trips.
Barr. Muhammad thanked the state pilgrims’ welfare board officials and executives for their patience, dedication and support to their respective pilgrims.
The commission prayed that the Almighty God will continue to guide all pilgrims’ operatives towards success in the discharge of their responsibilities.
The commission also prayed that each party involved in the success of the 2019 operation be rewarded with more successes in all their life endeavours.
The NAHCON’s boss also thanked Max Air and FlyNas for their efficiency in airlifting pilgrims and their luggage safely to Nigeria within the fixed time.
He said the Nigerians pilgrims carved a positive name for themselves in the host country with their civil conduct during the just concluded exercise.
He particularly thanked accommodation providers in both Makkah and Madinah, transportation providers, caterers in the two cities as well as Masha’ir and all NAHCON staff, members of the Ulama team, medical team, media, security as well as all other officials that played their roles in the interest of Nigerian pilgrims.
