The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar, commended the 131 Engineering Group and the 101 ADG for giving life back to the discarded tools.

“With a bit of efforts here and there, we can bring back all these things people are discarding as beyond economic repair.

“At this time of scarcity of resources and competition of increase in prices, the best we can have is what we are witnessing now,” he said.

Earlier, the AOC of the NAF Tactical Air Command in Makurdi, AVM Olusegun Phillips, said the equipment were reactivated within the units resources alongside assistance from the command’s headquarters.

“The equipment will add value to our maintenance efforts not only in Makurdi but other NAF units across the country,” he stated.

Phillips thanked the Chief of Air Staff for his commitment in steering the affairs of NAF to greater heights despite prevailing challenges.
