Na’Allah defeats 4 other contenders to clinch Kebbi South senatorial ticket

The Deputy Senate Leader representing Kebbi South senatorial zone, Bala Ibn Na’Allah defeated four other contenders to win the All Progressives Congress (APC) indirect primaries, Thursday in Zuru, Kebbi state.

Five aspirants contested in the exercise that commenced on Wednesday and lasted until Thursday.

Declaring the result, Garba Bello Musa representative of the APC national that conducted the exercise said out of the 1,967 total vote cast, Na’Allah polled 1,095 votes, Ambassador Mohammad Arzika got nine votes, Mrs Asiya Aminu five votes, DIG Suleiman Dauda Fakai scored 192 while Prince Sule-Iko Sami poled 652 votes.

14 votes were however, declared invalid.

The APC senatorial primaries earlier scheduled for Tuesday, was postponed for Wednesday.
