Proprietors of schools who have devised the act of shortchanging beneficiaries of N30,000 COVID-19 survival funds have been warned to desist from such or face prosecution.
The State projection implementation focal person for Abia State, Mr Chinenye Nwaogu gave this warning on Saturday while reviewing the activities of his office in the State so far.

He revealed that his office has received reports that school proprietors allegedly collect parts or whole of the N30,000 of money paid to the staff of such schools, warning that such ugly situation would not be condoned.
Mr Nwaogu’s warning may not be unconnected with grumblings by some beneficiaries of the Federal Government scheme, especially private school teachers, who claimed that they were asked by their employers to return part of the money to the school. End
