N20m up for grabs as ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ Returns

Nigerian Reality Show, ‘Who wants to be a millionaire’ is set to return eight years after its last season.

The organisers disclosed this at a press meeting at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Organisers also revealed that Frank Edoho will return to continue as the host for the show.

The show, themed ‘The Rebirth’, will be broadcasted for 52 weeks with the grand prize now increased to N20 Million.

A new feature, “asking the host” have been made to aid contestants when they are stuck on questions.

Other lifeline elements on the TV game show are “50-50”, “Call a Friend”, and “Ask the Audience”.

Frank Edoho hosted the popular TV game show for 13 years -from 2004 to 2017 – but resigned on 2 September 2017.

He announced his departure via his official Twitter page after failing to agree on terms with Ultima Studios.

Edoho denied being “dropped” by the organisers of the show, maintaining that he declined the offer that was given to him.
