N200m grant to El-Rufai: Group debunks Jonathan’s claim

A political group, Concerned Kaduna Citizens, has advised former President Goodluck Jonathan to refrain from attacking Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State over a purported offer of N200million.

An online media had reported that the former president said he gave El-Rufai the amount through Senator Esther Nenadi Usman.

The group, in a statement signed by its coordinator Mohammed Musa, questioned the rational for giving the said fund and for what purpose, stating that no such thing ever existed.

The group challenged the former President to prove when he gave such amount saying that Senator Usman who purportedly delivered the said money can be approached to testify.
