An FCT High Court has granted bail to the detained former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele in the sum of N300 million bond.
Justice Hamza Muazu on Wednesday ordered Emefiele to produce two sureties in like sum and they must be resident within the FCT and have landed property within the Maitama District.
The judge e also ordered Emefiele to deposit all his travel documents with the registrar of the court and to remain within the Abuja Municipal Area Council.

Emefiele was arraigned on an amended six-count charge bordering on money laundering by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Meanwhile, the judge has fixed November 28 for a hearing.
