In its efforts to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the National Social Investment Programs (N-SIP), the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has engaged 108 youths in Katsina State as monitors of the programme.
The Minister in charge of the ministry, Sadiya Umar Farouq, flagged off the distribution of engagement letters and tablets to the already trained independent monitors in the state on Thursday.

Represented by the Assistant Director, ICT of the Ministry, Dr Aminu Bello Tukur, the minister said the youth were trained to serve as independent monitors to the social investment programmes across the nation.
