Come August 11, 2015, Lady Isioma Chukwuma will be sworn in as the 47th President of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).
Lady Isioma Chukwuma will be succeeding Mr. Bola Temowo who has made success of his tenure especially in his pursuance of a legacy of continuity for the progress being made by the Institute.
Addressing the press in Lagos, Mr. Fatai Kayode Lawal,chairman, Lady Isioma Chukwuma Presidential Investiture Committee said the theme of Lady Chukwuma’s presidency is: “Consolidating The Gains Of The Industry For National Economic Growth”.
He said the theme is borne out of the need to consolidate on the gains the Institute has made during the tenures of the past presidents of the Institute.
The following areas he said are some of the means by which Lady Chukwuma’s Presidency aims to achieve the objectives of her theme: “Situating the CIIN on the global stage by enhancing the Institute’s certificate for global acceptability; upscaling collaboration with CII, UK; consolidating the existing collaboration with the CII, UK on cross accreditation of courses and using the CIIN certificate to apply for fellowship of the CII, UK; promoting insurance awareness by increasing the visibility of insurance through publications in the print medium and follow-up on the recognition to CIIN Certificate by the Head of Service (HOS) of the Federation,” he said.
