Dubem Oguegbu has carved a niche for himself in the nightlife business of nightclubbing.
As a Managing Director of Enugu-based nightclub, Platinum Lounge, the man from Anambra State has not only arrived on the scene of nightclubbing, but also has written his name in gold by being part of the movement to make Enugu the hub of entertainment in the Southeast region.
Oguegbu, who worked many years as a banker reveals his fascination with nightclubs and why he has decided to join the gravy train.
“I have always had a passion for entertainment. Our passion for the business makes us unique. We just love to create fun and happiness and we do that through entertainment
“We are the next city to Lagos now. We have a serene and safe environment, thanks to our able Governor of Enugu State. A lot of people are investing now in the nightlife business and that also promotes hospitality too,” he said of Enugu being the hub of entertainment in the Southeast region.
After bagging a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anambra State University, Uli in 2005/2006, he got a job with Diamond Bank Plc where he worked for five years.
According to him, the fulfilment didn’t come as expected as his passion lies elsewhere in the outdoor world of hospitality and he has fulfilled the passion by floating Platinum Lounge.
