A robbery suspect, Abdullahi Zakari, 21, arrested in Ojo area of Lagos, has said his gang is responsible for most of the attacks on travellers during peak traffic hours along the Mile 2-Okokomaiko expressway.
The suspect was arrested on November 30, 2021 along NEPA Road, Alaba Rago Market, Ojo, Lagos.

He confessed that his gang was responsible for a series of attacks at Iyana-Oba, Alaba Rago, Alaba International.
“Most of our targets are usually traders and travellers. But in the absence of these sets of people we rob workers to generate money for drinks, drugs and women,” he said.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Adekunle Ajisebutu, who confirmed the arrest said the suspect was nabbed by an anti-crime patrol team of the Ojo police division during a routine patrol of the area.
