The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has said the $10 billion economic stimulus he promised if elected will be a game-changer for the youth in the country.
Speaking at the flag off of the PDP North Central campaign rally in Ilorin on Thursday, Atiku said the package would guarantee gainful employment and decent living.
According to him, “The youth unemployment is all over the country, not peculiar to Kwara State or the North Central.
“Most of you here are under the age of 30 and have no jobs or businesses. I’ve promised to set aside $10 billion to stimulate the economy, including through SMEs to cater for youth employment.

“This will be a game-changer that will stimulate the economy, promote gainful employment, for you to have a decent living.
“We’re not here to tell you lie. We’re your parents. We want you to achieve your dreams. We will bail you out, bring you up and make sure you obtain your objectives, whatever your lofty ambition. That’s why we are here”, he noted.
The presidential candidate told the people not to “vote for APC again but all candidates of the PDP come 2023.”
