Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has commended the troops of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) for successfully recovering the remains of the missing Ardo of Panyam, Adamu Idris Gabdo.
The Fulani leader is of Panyam District of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, and was declared missing on September 24, when he was reported to be returning home after paying a visit to the District Head of the area, Aminu Darwam.
His corpse was discovered on Thursday in Dawaki community of Kanke Local Government Area of the state.
The governor in a statement by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, strongly condemned the heinous act and again lauded the perseverance and tenacity of the security personnel.

Mutfwang reassured of his government’s commitment to upholding the rule of law in addressing all forms of criminal activities, and urged communities in the state not to resort to self help but to report any criminal acts to security agencies for swift action.
