Muslims have been urged to participate actively in politics as the 2023 general elections draw near.
The National Coordinator, Standard Bearers Islamic Organisation, Dr Abdulhafeez Bello, gave the charge at a press conference in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

He said Islam encourages Muslims to be part of governance as unanimously agreed by reputable Islamic scholars.
Bello appealed to the federal government to address myriad of issues bedevilling the nation, including economic hardship and insecurity.
