The National Council of Muslim Youth Organisations (NACOMYO) Thursday condemned the calls for secession in some parts of the country.
It insisted that seccession was not the solution to the country’s socio-political challenges.

The council’s coordinator in Lagos State, Alhaji Isiaka Salami, however, told newsmen in Lagos that the insecurity across the country calls for concern.
“Since there is no other place we can call our country, the council condemns all calls to nihilism and secession and also calls on the government to be more responsive and decisive as it has recently promised,” the council said.
The council also called for the establishment of Shari’a Court of Appeal in Lagos State.
