The Amira of National Al-mu’minat Training Forum (NATF), Hajia Ni’imatullah Abdul-Quadir has decried the atrocities being committed against the people of Palestine, particularly in the enclaved Gaza Strip, calling it a disturbing humanitarian disaster.

She said Gaza populations are under daily bombardment by Zionist Israel and its allies while beseeching Allah to accept the dead as martyrs and grant the injured quick recovery.

She also prayed for an end to the genocide, comforted the Gazans, and accelerated victory.

The national Amira, who was represented by the Forum’s Assistant Secretary-General, Dr (Pharm) Hafsat Adesina, stated this at a closing ceremony of the 29th National AL-Mu’minaat Training Forum (NATF), held in Abuja with a theme: Strengthening the Muslim Home.

Ms Abdul-Quadir noted that NATF is being annually held in three decentralised venues: Lagos, Oyo and Abuja adding that Kaduna, Nassarawa, Niger and Benue states would be carved out of FCT Zone from the subsequent vocational training.

She said, “You will agree with me that the theme was adequately treated by the different lecturers who handled the different topics. The guidance and counseling session was awesome.

“I hope some of us will go back home with the intention of being empowered with making spices as was presented during the vocational training.

“The Health talk on mental health is also important, especially at this point in our nation where we all need to keep good mental health to be able to deal with situations.

“Let me use this opportunity to remember our dear sisters – our martyrs whom Allah took from us last year on their way to the 28th NATF. May Allah grant them all the best places in Aljanah Firdaus. May Allah comfort their families,’’ she added.

City & Crime reports that several Islamic organisations such as Alasalatu members, and women representatives graced the ceremony which was held at Government Science Secondary School, Pyakasa-Maitama.
