Muslim women seek divine intervention against insurgency

The group in a statement condemned the killing of students of the Federal Government College Bunu, Yadi, Yobe State by suspected members of the Boko Haram insurgents.
While condoling with parents and families of the victims, the Muslim women said: “we appeal to perpetrators of this heinous crime against humanity to please stop and embrace peace and dialogue”.
They said they were deeply saddened as mothers urging government to intensify efforts at protecting all citizens particularly women and children.
The group further called on the participants of the national conference to work towards a peaceful nation that will “be devoid of killings, rape and kidnapping”.
