El-Birru Muslim Association of Nigeria (EMAN) has organised a fundraising campaign for borehole projects in Central Juma’at Mosques in Kogi Central.
During the one-day campaign in Abuja over the weekend, the National Ameer of the association, Arc Abdulyakeen Mamman, disclosed that the planned project was meant to ease water shortages to worshippers and immediate residents of the area.
He said, “Brothers and Sisters in Islam, we are gathered here today to seek your support for the construction of boreholes in all Central Masjids in Kogi Central, one of our planned projects, which commenced with Okene Central masjid (95% completion), to ease water challenges to worshippers and immediate environs.
“With your support, we will be constructing 10 boreholes across the Kogi Central this new year 1445AH at an estimated cost of N35m for the 10 sites.”
