‘Mummy, leave me alone’, Shehu Sani replies El-Rufai’s wife

The lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani, has sent a fresh response to Hadiza El-Rufai, former First Lady of Kaduna State.

Mrs El-Rufai had tackled him on Saturday after he made a post about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In the post via X, Sani opined that President Tinubu’s traveling out of the country has a way of affecting taxes and prices of commodities.

“New law of economics;When the President travels out,Taxes and Prices goes up,” he wrote.

Responding, Mrs El-Rufai, who is known for correcting bad English on X, spotted the post and corrected the former lawmaker.

She said the former lawmaker’s post should have read ‘’go up” and not ‘’goes up.”

In response, Sani, referred to the former First Lady as “mummy,” urging her to leave him alone.

“I unfollowed you and you unfollowed me. And you still de hang around me.Mummy,leave me alone abeg,” he wrote.
