MTN Nigeria has trained over 50 owners of Small and Medium scale Enterprises (SMEs) which enabled them learn how to create tailor-made contents on Facebook to maximise their business expansion and growth.
In a statement issued on Monday by the telecom giant, it said using Facebook will enable them establish their brand, build their network, market their businesses, and find the right audience for their products or services.
The training, held at the NGHub in Yaba, Lagos, is part of a series of digital training offered by MTN Nigeria to SMEs.
The statement noted that the training is envisioned to empower business owners on how to use digital tools to promote businesses on Facebook.
It added that SME owners present at the training learnt how to restructure posts using images, write up, call to action, targeting and headline to turn audiences into customers.
Also, business owners learned the benefits and functionality of some Facebook products including Facebook audience insight designed to help marketers learn more about their target audiences and aggregate information about geography, demographics and purchasing behaviour etc.
“In collaboration with Facebook, MTN Nigeria continues in its drive to empower Nigerian entrepreneurs for business growth, thus contributing to the nation’s economic development,” it stated.
