Movement demand investigation of Ekiti ‘leaked audio’

The Mass Movement for Buhari 2015 (MMB) has called on the military authority to properly investigate allegations by Captain Sagir Koli, which revealed how the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rigged the 2014 Ekiti State governorship election, using military personnel.
National Coordinator of the MMB, Kenneth Ibe-Kalu in a statement on Sunday in Abuja insisted that the army must uncover culprits involved in the anomaly and punish erring officers according to military rules.
He also advised President Goodluck Jonathan to immediately resign for alleged dereliction of duty as Commander in Chief, owing to his confession during a media chat that he was not aware of the letter from the security chiefs to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), which orchestrated the postponement of the 2015 elections.
Ibe-Kalu equally urged INEC to ignore calls by some politicians to jettison the use of electronic card readers in the conduct of 2015 elections.
“We reject the call for INEC to discard the card reader they had acquired for 2015 elections. On Muazu claim that it has not been tested, may we remind the National Chairman (of PDP) that Nigeria is not the first country to use card readers since its invention therefore it is ignorance on his part to fault it performance,” he said.
