Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho was delighted with the goal scoring performance of Anthony Martial in victory over Everton.
Paul Pogba and Martial were on target for United before Gylfi Sigurdsson gave Everton hope with a 77th-minute penalty.
United boss Jose Mourinho dropped £75million Romelu Lukaku to the bench against his former club.
But on Martial, Mourinho said: “I think he has the same natural talent that he had one year ago, two years ago, but he’s improving his way of thinking football, thinking training too and thinking his role in the team, so I’m really, really happy with him.
“And with Luke Shaw, with boys that are improving and difficult periods for them, difficult periods for myself, because I want more from them and I took them to the limit. But in this moment, I think both of them and in today’s case, Anthony [Martial], he was able to do things that he was not able to do before, so I’m really, really happy with Anthony.”
