A mother of four, Kafayat Yusuf, on Wednesday, dragged her husband, Abdulwahab Yusuf, before a Sharia court sitting at Magajin Gari, Kaduna, for abandoning her and their children for nine months.
Kafayat, who told the court that Yusuf abandoned her and the children for nine months, said, “He left all the responsibility of feeding, rent and children’s school fees to me. His family did not show any concern or support.

“I am tired of this marriage; I want the court to dissolve the union.”
The defendant was not in court, and his counsel, Malam Abdulbasit Sulaiman, said he couldn’t reach his client on phone, praying the court to give him time to reach the defendant.
