A middle-aged woman and her two children were among four persons that were pulled out of Sienna bus that involved in an auto crash at the Ajah area of Lagos State by officials of the State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) on Thursday.
The team rescued a woman with her two children going to school. Also rescued is the driver of the Sienna bus involved in the accident.
The accident which involved a Fiat Pick-up company van with registration number SMK 297 GD and the Sienna bus marked LSR 105 HW, occurred at about 7:30am, at Salau junction after Jakande 1st gate inward Chisco along Lekki-Ajah Expressway.
Adebayo Taofiq, Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of LASTMA, said preliminary investigation revealed that the accident was as a result of over speeding.

Taofiq said the driver of the pickup van lost control and rammed into the Sienna bus carrying the woman and her children who were on their way to school.
Taofiq said all the victims were rushed to a nearby hospital by the husband of the rescued woman after he was contacted with the help of LASMA officials at the accident scene.
