The ultimatum the Northern coalition against the Igbo residing in the North has continued to generate reactions from across the country.

Yesterday, a group of associations, an umbrella body of all youth groups in the North, Arewa Youth Forum (AYF), appealed for calm, insisting that Nigeria belong to all citizens irrespective of tribe or religion.

National President of the Peace Revival and Reconciliation Foundation of Nigeria, Pastor Yohanna Buru called on northern and South Eastern youth groups to embrace peace and dialogue rather than disintegrate Nigeria over Biafra issues.

The National President of  AYF, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Gujungu said issuing such an ultimatum to the Igbo would not only be viewed as a threat but inciting as many northerners also reside in Igbo land.

President of  the Arewa Youth for Progress and Development,  Comrade Danjuma Bello Sarki said the call on Igbo to leave the North was the height of exuberant rascality.
