Monica storms OAU probe panel with 3 counsels

The female student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, (OAU) Ile-Ife, Monica Osagie, who leaked the audio recording of a conversation between her and one of the lecturers in the university, Professor Richard Akindele asking her for five rounds of sex to pass a course, has appeared before the investigative panel probing the matter.

Monica was at the campus with three female counsels who are also rights activists from the Women Advocate Research and Documentation Center (WARDC), Abuja but the investigative committee allowed only two of them to appear with her as observers, with the investigative panel insisting that the matter was still OAU internal issue and the counsels, namely Dr Abiola Akinyode Afolabi, Mrs Emmanuela Azu and Mrs Nkechi Obiagbaoso, could not be part of it.
