The Ohimegye of Opanda-Umaisha kingdom in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Alhaji Usman Abdullahi, has commended the state governor, Abdullahi Sule, for dislodging bandits that have been terrorizing his kingdom.
Alhaji Abdullahi gave the commendation while speaking with newsmen after he observed the two raka’ats prayers to mark the Eid- El- fitr celebrations in Umaisha community.

He said the dislodgement of the armed bandits (Daru-salam) that formed various camps within his kingdom over years has brought relief to his subjects, who are now sleeping with their two eyes closed.
He also commended the state government for awarding the dualization of Toto-Umaisha road, which, he said, was first constructed during the administration of late governor Aliyu Akwe Doma.
The monarch also lamented over the high cost of living in the country.
He called on his subjects to continue to live in peace irrespective of their tribe, religious, ethnic and political affiliations, saying development can only thrive when there is peace and unity in the society.
