The chief of Pai in Kwali Area Council of the FCT, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Pai, has appealed to the FCT Minister, Nyemso Wike, to intervene in revamping the primary healthcare centres in his chiefdom which he said are eyesore.
Alhaji Pai, who was giving remarks during the flag -off of the construction of Yangoji-Sukuku road by Wike at Yangoji in Kwali Area Council on Wednesday, noted that the primary healthcare centres are in dilapidated state.
He commended the minister for the ongoing infrastructural development across the FCT and his move to tackle the insecurity in the territory.
He said the construction of the Yangoji -Sukuku road would bring relief to farmers for transporting their crops to the town.
Meanwhile, our reporter, who had earlier visited Bako primary Healthcare centre in Kwali area council on Wednesday, observed that the centre was in a dilapidated state.
It was further observed that the health centre had only one bed, one plastic chair with broken windows and without parameter fence.
Some residents who reside close to the health centre, complained of lack of drugs and pipe borne water at the centre.
