The Chairman of Channels Television has charged newly elected executives of University of Lagos Alumni association on true leadership, saying true leaders make things happen and they don’t wait for it to happen.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof Oluwatoyin Ogundipe congratulated the executives and advised them to attract more funds for the university.

Mrs Abimbola Ini, the Founder of Thistle Praxis Consulting and Sustainability Consultant also clamoured on the need to take up the mantle of accountability and transparency in a bid to ensure social responsibility through strategic vision.
Ini made this disclosure while addressing new executives of University of Lagos Alumni Association, Lagos Branch at Radisson blue, Ikeja.
She urged new members of the executive body to continually and mutually reinforce so as to ensure they sustain the good legacy the institution is known for.
Dr Olowojebutu Oluwatosin, the chairman Lagos State Alumni while appreciating the speakers said the reason for organising the retreat is to show clear direction to executives as they kickstart their tenure.
“Our Alumni Association must be a fraternity of positive values and humanely beneficial to advancing human progressively. Nigeria is in dire situation and we should be seen making positive efforts to provide the needed leadership”.
