A mob on Tuesday burnt a suspected motorcycle thief in front of Wurukum market in Makurdi Metropolis of Benue State.
Witnesses said the suspected thief attempted to take away a motorcycle from where it was parked.

A witness told our correspondent that the suspect had inserted a key to unlock the bike and was about riding it away when a bystander who saw the owner park it raised alarm.
Spokesperson of the Benue Police Command, DSP Catherine Anene, confirmed the incident just as she warned against jungle justice.
