Nigerians are expressing mixed feelings on Twitter, following the death of the All Progressive Congress’ (APC) governorship candidate in last Saturday’s election in Kogi state, Prince Abubakar Audu.
Though the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and few online news media have confirmed Prince Audu’s death and burial, many Nigerians appear not to believe his reported death as they claimed some spiritual groups, ranging from prayer warriors, ‘witches and wizards ‘ etc have revived him, after he passed out on Sunday morning.
Below are some tweets making the #Kogi, #Audu and his hometown #Ogbonicha trend on the social media:
What is happening in Kogi is like a Nollywood script. How can Prince Audu be pronounced dead yday only to resurrect toay? I dont believe it!

Just dropped a call from Kogi, I can't believe it. But I believe that God has the power to do more than that. They told me Audu is not dead.

The strong and powerful Chief Abraham Adesanya could not be brought back to life. Kogi jazz is child's play near Ijebu Igbo's jazz.

Please be informed that this @audu is @Audu Maikori from Kaduna not His excellency AuduAbubakar of Kogi.

Before you continue to debate what happens in Kogi, put yourself in the shoe of #Audu's family. Nothing should matter now than the deceased.
— Imam Imam (@imamdimam) November 23, 2015
How can Prince Audu somehow come back to life? How can that be? Can't believe people are this gullible.

I urge everyone to be calm and peaceful, even at death all Audu would want for Kogi State is progress, peaceful coexistence and development
