He stated this at the weekend while briefing newsmen on the maiden edition of the project which will be unveiled on the 11th of this month.
He said unlike other contests which dwells on beauty, brains and body exposure Miss intercultural Nigeria is different as it is aimed at showcasing and unifying the country’s different rich cultural value and heritage.
He said the unity and display of cultures would not only bring about unity in the country but also and also the chance to sell its image in positive light in line with rebranding.
Mr. Success said for the first time in the country there will be participants from northern states which have hitherto frowned at contests because of extreme body exposure and other acts contrary to religious tenets.
He said 37 final participants are expected from the event representing each state of the federation and the FCT after which a winner would emerge. Scholarships would be awarded to 10 children from each state of the participants that made the final 37 contestants making scholarship award to 370 indigent children to go to school aside cash and other prizes for the winner and participants.
He also said the organization is in collaboration with the first lady Dame Patience Goodluck Jonathan, Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the ministry of information and Communication on the project.
