As preparations for 2024 edition of the biggest polo and tourism extravaganza, the Minna international polo tournament gets to its feverish pitch, eighteen times winners and defending champions, El-Amin polo team and over fifteen ambitious teams are gearing up for what promises to be an exciting international fiesta.

The tournament that is powered by the Niger State government as the main sponsors is supported by a consortium of blue chip corporate organizations like EL-Amin Polo, Niger State International Revenue Board, Niger Foods, Heritage 5, Mazibe Farms, Senator Aliyu Wadada Dangote Industries, among others.

Polo Royals reliably gathered that the polo loving governor who recently assumed his responsibility as the President of the Minna Polo Club is making sure that the “Power State” hosts one of the most memorable and the most exciting polo tournaments this year.

Billed to thrill from July 9- July 13   at the IBB Polo Ground in Minna, the Niger State capital city., the 2024 edition remains one of the most  prestigious fiesta revered as the biggest sporting cum tourism extravaganza that attracts the largest crowd of polo buffs and tourists in the drove every year to the state.

Minna Polo Secretary and Acting Captain Ahmed Salisu confirmed that the earlier postponed fiesta will gallop off with fanfare at the legendary IBB Sports Complex, with the highly revered IBB Cup leading the pack of four major prizes at stake.
