The Federal Ministry of Justice’s E-Library has been named after the retiring Solicitor-General of the Federation and Permanent Secretary, Dayo Apata (SAN).

The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) disclosed this during the ceremony to mark Apata’s retirement from the Civil Service.

Malami described the retiring officer as an experienced and skillful civil servant and epitome of service who distinguished himself in every assignment given to him.

“In my countless encounters with him and intimate working interaction with him over the years, I found him to be resourceful, committed and patriotic in the discharge of his duties,” he said.

In their goodwill messages, the Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Dr Anthony Ojukwu and the Director of Finance and Accounts of the Federal Ministry of Justice, Modupe Bakara commended the retiring permanent secretary for his diligence and service to the country.

In his remarks, Apata thanked Malami for the support and cooperation given to him during his service in the ministry.
