The minister made the announcent on Friday after his investiture as the National Patron of the Goodluck Jonathan Pro-Poor Project in his office at Area 11, Garki I District, Abuja.
According to him, he has to join the President’s party to assist him in the giant stride of nation building.

The minister called on well-meaning Nigerians to join hands with President Goodluck Jonathan to realise the aspirations of Yar’Adua/Goodluck 2007 ticket and move the country forward.
The Minister noted that since his assumption of duty in the Federal Capital Territory, President Jonathan has never interfered in the running of the Territory or requested for anything which has no doubt depicted him as a selfless and uncommon leader of our generation.
