Irabo, represented by the Chief of Defence Administration, Rear Adm. Abdul Adamu, said the conventional asymmetric security challenges ranging from insurgency terrorism and banditry, militancy and other sundry crimes demanded a whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach.
A former editor of the Daily Trust on Sunday, Dr Theophilus Abbah, while delivering a paper titled ‘The Journalist Code of Ethics, Conflict of Interest and National Security’, charged media practitioners not to bend the truth.
He said there should be a symbiotic relationship between the military and the media on information dissemination.
