Military seeks partnership with media

The ministry has sought partnership with the media.

The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Lucky Irabor, who spoke in Abuja on Wednesday at a capacity building workshop for Defence correspondents, said a collective approach was required to surmount insecurity.

Irabo, represented by the Chief of Defence Administration, Rear Adm. Abdul Adamu, said the conventional asymmetric security challenges ranging from insurgency terrorism and banditry, militancy and other sundry crimes demanded a whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach.
