On a daily basis, I see posts on social media where military men are attacked verbally over the insecurity situation in the country and I do not think that is right.
While it is true that we are battling serious security issues across the country, we should also understand that the military men risk their lives to protect lives and property. Sometimes they do these without the necessary resources, so we should commend them for what they do, that way, they will do more.

These men leave their families for months just so that they can keep the country safe and I don’t think we thank them enough.
We have seen instances where a military man dies and the family he left behind suffers. I call on the government and members of the National Assembly to come up with measures that will ensure that military men and their families are well cared for.
