Durojaiye Relief Foundation in Partnership with Mikano Motors has spearheaded a Road Safety Initiative geared towards sensitising motorists and pedestrians on road safety tips and habits to imbibe for a safer travel experience on Lagos roads.
The event was supported by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).

At the Road Safety Road Show, members of the NURTW Lagos chapter and other motorists were sensitised on the importance of vehicle maintenance being the best approach for keeping their vehicles in the best shape and ensuring the safe transport of passengers across the state.
To incentivise the motorists to act, some of the drivers were given free engine oil supply and replacements for their vehicles.
In a statement, the organisers reminded motorists to adhere to road transport best practices such as using safety belts, no texting and driving, no drinking and driving, and no driving while intoxicated or fatigued.
