Mikano International Limited, a leading power solution provider, said it would soon venture into vehicle assembling in Nigeria at its state-of-the-art auto assembly plant located along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway as part of its diversification plan.
Besides, the company said it is investing in an industrial city covering a space of 120,000 sqm with eight warehouses and storage facilities.
The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Mikano, Mr. Lokman Jouni disclosed this during the Grand Finale of its 2018 Mega Sales Promo Raffle Draw where the star prize of 50KVA Generator worth about N4m was doled out to a lucky winner.
At the raffle draw witnessed by officials of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission and the state Lottery Commission, as well as Advertising Practitioners’ Council of Nigeria (APCON), Mikano customers who participated in the raffle draw won 20 pieces of 43 LED Television sets, five pieces of Laptop, five pieces of N250,000 Mikano Gift Voucher and five pieces of Coolinks internet with one year subscription.
Jouni said Mikano had sustained the promo consistently for over 20 years to give back to the consumers at the end of the year.
The promo was also part of the company’s 25th anniversary which kicked off last year with the company rewarding its customers with instant vouchers ranging from N20,000 to N200,000.
The Deputy CEO said the company would ramp up its investment in Nigeria through diversifying into other business ventures like the Auto Assembly plant, saying Mikano believes in the local content initiative of the Federal Government.
