MI, Ice Prince, Naeto C, Dr SID, celebrate Lokoja fans

“We rocked Lagos, we’re going to do it even better in Lokoja”. That was the promise artistes performing at the second leg of the Star Music Trek which held on June 15th 2013 at the Lokoja Stadium made before the concert. Their fans who trooped out en masse to the arena were not disappointed as they lived up to their expectations.
Fans have described the second leg of the annual Star Music Trek concert as being”undeniably the biggest concert in Lokoja in 2013”
The event, which featured high energy performances from MI, JMartins, IcePrince, Dr Sid, Jukebox amongst others, was a first time experience for the like of Naeto C who also performed.
The ‘C Season’ artiste who drew fans in a rush from all corners of the stadium who were itching to catch a glimpse of him said “this is my first time in Lokoja and I’m really happy to be there.”
Worked the crowd to fever pitch, for ‘Africa rapper No 1’ MI  said “it doesn’t get any better than this.” Commending the crowd, he said  “you guys make the effort we put into making these concerts a tremendous success  worth it.”
With an exciting live band, JMartins offered his signature powerful performance and also managed to stun a loyal fan, Musa Isa, as well as the entire audience with a surprise wristwatch gift to him valued at over N1.6million ($10,000).
Music lovers were seen dancing and singing along to the hit makers through out the night with many clutching and exchanging concert memorabilia.
To wrap up the night was multi award winning rapper, entertainer and label executive, MI, whose usual mix high octane performances laced with wit, humour and panache proved a superb finish to an already outstanding evening.
Other artistes who will be performing at the nation wide event include 2face, D’banj, Psquare, Timaya, Wande Coal, Obesere, Mr Raw,  , Tiwa Savage, Sheyi Shey, and many others.
Music fans in Aba, Abeokuta, Agege, Asaba, Enugu, Nnewi, Owerri,and Surulere are not left out as the concert will also tour these cities over the coming months.
