Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales and Princess Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, will visit Nigeria from Tuesday 6th to Thursday 8th November, 2018, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said.
A statement by the ministry’s spokesperson, George Edokpa, said the British Royalty and delegation will be received on arrival by the minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama, along with the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Alhaji Muhammed Musa Bello.
“Their Royal Highnesses will be received in audience by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa,” the statement said.
It said, ”The other engagements of the visiting members of the British Royal family while in Nigeria include: Tree Planting at the British High Commission; Literacy Engagement at Salamander Cafe; Meeting with Traditional Rulers at the Residence of the British High Commissioner; Meeting with the Leader of the Nigerian Opposition; and Laying of Wreath at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Memorial.
“The Royal Delegation is expected to depart Abuja on Thursday, 8th November, 2018.”
