Meet Kelly Osasere, Nigerian-born actor, model making a difference

Everybody is aware of the constant competition in the movie industry but some individuals have still gone ahead in making waves be it writers, composers or artists.

Even amidst so much competition, it is obvious that Kelly Osasere, who was born in Benin, would become a great personality.

His parents separated when he was just two-year-old, leaving him and his kid sister to be raised by their single mother in Crema, Italy where they migrated to.

At a very young age, he wanted to be a prince but that quickly faded away when he discovered his passion for acting.

“I remember being a kid in Africa and watching movies and being inspired and moved by storytelling and fascinated with the craft of performing and telling stories,” he revealed.

Kelly Osasere is gradually turning into a household name. He displayed high levels of determination to make it huge as a young actor and he has achieved massive successes.

He has shot many commercials, including Sony Playlink and also had worked with director Charlie Belleville on his documentary, “He agony & the ecstasy.”

He also worked with director Tim Kent on his film “Nightclub office” at the Pinewood Studios, London while also featuring in “Small Axe” on the BBC, directed by Steve.

While in 2018, he shot a commercial, Rado watch ”You complete me”, directed by Chris Gaunt, he also featured in a short film, “Striving anxiety” and so many amazing projects just to mention a few.

On his way to pursuing his talent, Kelly moved to London where he trained at a drama school as a theatre, film and television actor. He continued to reach for the stars with his goals being his biggest motivation to keep pushing daily.

The successful model and actor has worked with some well-known brands during his career, including Versace, Calvin Klein, Uber Eats and Schweppes.

Despite coming from a poor rich country, Kelly Osasere is not deterred about his goals and pursuits in the competitive ever-evolving entertainment and movie Industry.

“My motivation is remembering where I come from and how I want to be a good example for a lot of kids in the world, to let them know everything is possible.

“If you work hard for it and put your mind to it, you can become anything you want to be,” he stated.

Aside from being a model, television actor, Kelly is becoming a name to reckon with in advocating for young writers and less privileged children in Africa.
