The Commonwealth University, Dubai, has conferred honorary Doctorate Degree on the General Manager, Human Resource and Management Services, Media Trust, publishers of Daily Trust and other titles, Hajiya Hadiza I. Bala.
Hadiza had three decades of HR experience in three different banks in the HR department before joining Media Trust in 2019.

When asked to describe her feelings about the award, she said she never saw it coming.
She said she was grateful for being recognised for her contributions in the field of human resources and career path she had chosen.
Speaking at the ceremony in, a European Policy expert, diplomat, lecturer and long-standing board member of the joint EU Parliamentary, Dr David P. Doyle, said Hadiza and other recipients had contributed to the society through their professions, humanity, arts, science or service.
Doyle said the university was designed for the 21st century where students and faculty are partners that uphold traditional standards.
“Commonwealth University has over the years recorded achievements such as having its programs being endorsed by the UNESCO, accreditation of Certified Management Consultant (CMC) by the ICMCI, accreditation by the international association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (QAHE) and Dual Degree Partnership with UNESCO-listed degree universities.”
