Media Trust Townhall: APC promises to solve insecurity, others 

The Katsina State gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Dikko Umar Radda, has promised to adopt the strategy employed by the present administration to solve the security challenges facing the state. 

He stated this at the Media Trust Townhall meeting wwith the gubernatorial candidates in the state.

Represented by his running mate, Faruk Lawal Jobe, Radda said the security challenges had been one of the most worrying problems, hence the need to make it among the top priorities of his manifesto.

“We will use the same techniques used by this administration especially the engagement of traditional rulers in tackling banditry,” he said.

Radda said other areas they would prioritize include the public sector administration reform, education and entrepreneurship, social care to support the underprivileged, orphans and widows.

He added, “Health sector will also be improved, facilities, personnel among others are not enough to cater for the good healthcare of people, supporting the MSMEs based on his Excellency’s experience in SMEDAN.”

He described himself and his running mate as the best to lead the state, saying, “We were all schoolteachers, bankers which gave us experience of private sector.

“On this we want to use the opportunity based on Islamic teaching to play our role in doing the right thing for the people.”
